Teaching? Its about heart work!

Recently there has been alot of ranting about the teaching profession, exams and pressure on students (not that its any less on other days just that its kind of the off season after exams kind of stuff). Well to me teaching is about heart work. There are alot of teachers out there who thinks that they can get away from duties and responsibilities by passing on to others (etc. parents, students and even the tutors). However, there is really no way we can determine whether a teacher is good cause there is really no way to measure the results(too many external contributors). The only way is to ask our own conscience. Are we doing the things we ought to do or are we just going through the motion because that's what is required? Ask your heart, I know my answer do you know yours? Do what you think its right because you answer to yourself.

BPL over and now to EURO 2008

English Footy is over and now its time for EURO 2008. Luckily Beijing games is in August if not will not know which game to watch. Heehee. The team I am rooting for is Croatia, strange choice u may say but I think its got loads of potential since winning against England in the qualifier. Hope they can prove that my sense of judgement is spot on.

My Wii!

Finally bought a Wii set to play. Its a second hand set that cost me $500 bucks coupled with the good fortune of the author, the seller let go of his extra Wii mote with Wii play at $50 bucks. That to me was a steal, heehee. Anyway, I played using the projector screen and man it was awesome. Big screen and wireless control really make the best of the Wii system. I played till I was sweating allover. Simply love it, now its to find someone to play with......heehee

Really had the pleasure of helping Michael in his maiden classroom teaching experience. Really hoped that he had gain much from this experience and put them to good use. I felt recharged from this experience of helping him and I guess the reward for me could have far exceeded what I had expected. Mentoring....hmm.....not a bad idea....heehee.
