Feeling very frustrated as PSLE nears. Why? Its not my PSLE anyway right? Wrong, its my students' and they are not having the correct attitude to face the obstacle that stands between them and their last days in primary school. How? I really don't know. Think I should just tell them how I feel, maybe that might work, other than that I can only keep my fingers crossed and hope that they will pull up their socks.

Today, I took Tricia, Genny and Kevin to the briefing because the organisers said that they needed more people there. I usually would go alone, but then again its always nice to have company. We arrived early and took a short shopping trip at Orchard Cinema since we have plenty of time to spare. Overall it was fun.

Thursday is our off-in-lieu for the polling day back in May. I will be going to my daughter's school to fetch her. First time sending my girl to school, experiencing the joy of a parent. Heehee. So exciting. Had to send my car for repairs last night. My power window broke down and have to change a switch for $180! Wow that's expensive for a switch. Keep my fingers cross nothing will break down anymore before I change a new car. Hang in there buggy!

Didn't really spend much time celebrating my birthday. Brought my wife and kid out for a nice dinner at swensens and had a happy birthday firehouse ice-cream. Actually wanted an Earthquake but figured that it would be too much. My wife bought me a pair of trousers and my kid sang me a birthday song. In fact she kept singing for the whole day......heehee.

Today we celebrated Racial Harmony day in school. My class celebrated my birthday just as I've guessed. Can't ask for too much, I was happy but still there are many problems waiting to be resolved. Well, at least I can enjoy the weekend and celebrate my birthday before I think of those stuff on Monday again.

Tomorrow is my IPPT test, I'm not very confident this time cause I sustained an injury on monday. Its a shin splint, hate it as there is no cure for such injury. My muscles are aching as well. Really dread going for the test tomorrow.

Bad day as my students got into a fight while playing soccer. I thought they have learnt how to take control of their own temper and play a fair game, but it was far from it. Really disappointed with them, banned them from playing soccer till I can find a solution to this problem. Hate these kind of things, but boys are always fond of fighting, that's a fact you cannot deny.

Decided to start blogging because I need to find out how I can get the new robotech members to use blog to record their journal for the National Junior Robotics Competition. Feel very stress because last year I guided the team to first champion in the website category. More will be expected of me this time round. I'm also starting to write a new mini-story using characters from my current class. This is the first time I'm trying to write an English story as I have previously written a Chinese one. Still at the start, characters are at the development stage but got the title out, "Wino-the winner". The story is about a daydreaming 12 year old boy and the happenings around him. Should be interesting. More updates when I find the time.
